This readme file describes the files that are available here, on
Link Communications' ftp site.  In general, there is a subdirectory
for each of our controller models and a subdirectory for files
that deal with ACC's controllers.  For each of our controllers,
there is a separate directory for each software version.  For each
software version you will find some of the following:

- readme             a file describing the files in that directory
- eproms.zip         the files needed to burn your own firmware eproms
- man_asc.zip        the manual in ASCII format (no formatting or fonts)
- man_wp5?.zip       the manual in WordPerfect for Windows 5.? format
- man_wp60.zip       the manual in WordPerfect for Windows 6.0 format
- man_pdf?.zip       the manual in PDF - more information below
- mup* or man_up*    just the parts of the manual that changed 
                     since the previous version

The files named man_pdf?.zip are in PDF, Adobe's Portable Document
Format. This allows them to be viewed and/or printed from DOS, Windows,
Macintosh, and Unix systems using the appropriate version of Adobe's
Acrobat Reader. Acrobat is freely distributable;  you can download it
from Adobe's ftp site.  If you have difficulty with their site, let me
know and we may be able to post the reader ourselves.  You may be able
to download the viewer and/or manual files using your WWW browser. All
of the applicable addresses are listed below.
