Console Select Functions

Select

The Select feature is an important one.  It dictates which resources will be transmitted on when PTT main is active.  It also controls which resources are monitored at full volume, and which ones are monitored at less. 



In the example above, the resource on the left is selected, and the widget on the right is deselected.  When using system defaults, this means that audio from the Repeater on the left will play at full volume, and the Dplx Link audio will play at half.

Volume

LinkTDS has support for Master Selected/Unselected audio volume. Unselected audio controls are located on the left side of the intercom widget, selected audio controls are located on the right side.  Sliding them from 0% to 100% will control audio reduction for selected/unselected channels.

Multi Select

The multi select control is located on the console widget, to the left of the mute all button.  This feature allows users to select more than one resource simulaneously.  Clicking the select button on any resource will toggle its selected state without deselecting or affecting the state of any other resources.

Select All

The select all feature allows users to put all resources in a selected state.  This function can also be referred to as "TX All".  Keying the Master PTT after executing select all would transmit on all lines.
